US$125,000 ACON Fatal1ty Great Wall Shootout Winner Signs with ABIT

October 18, 2004 – ABIT is pleased to announce that the winner of the US$125,000 ACON Fatal1ty Great Wall Shootout, Meng ‘RocketBoy’ Yang has signed on to lead the ABIT Gamers in China. As an ABIT Gamer, RocketBoy will work to promote gaming throughout China. RocketBoy will be ABIT’s lead gamer at all Gaming Events in China. He will also be involved in the development and testing of all ABIT gaming products including motherboards, VGA cards and all other ABIT Gaming Gear.

As winner of the ACON Fatalty Great Wall Shootout, RocketBoy showed great gaming skill. As an ABIT Gamer, ABIT will work with RocketBoy to further both his gaming experience as well as to further gaming for all the gamers of China. RocketBoy will travel throughout China, promoting professional gaming across the country. His gaming equipment will be the ABIT Fatal1ty AA8XE motherboard and the Fatal1ty X700XT VGA Card.

On being the first ABIT Gamer named in China, RocketBoy said, “This has been an amazing few days for me. First I do the impossible and win the Fatal1ty Shootout, and then become the first ABIT Gamer in China.” On partnering with ABIT, he said, “I have been using ABIT motherboards since I started gaming. And to now be able to work directly with ABIT and Fatal1ty in the development and testing of gaming products is really perfect.”
