Sony is dangling the proverbial carrot in front of the eyes of online-enabled PlayStation 3 users by offering a slew of decent content for its PlayStation Plus service over the coming months.

A yearly subscription currently costs £39.99 and users get access to a number of special features including discounts on the PlayStation Store content, free and exclusive access to select games, full game trials, and much more.

Included in the content over the next couple of months is the full game of Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee for free, plus Super Street Fighter II HD Remix. Anyone who subscribes before the 5th October will also get a free copy of Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Boot
