Aww, the cutesy ickle wobot

By now you can’t have not heard of Wall-E, the new Pixar film about a trash collecting robot left to clean up Earth… and if you haven’t then either you haven’t got kids or you live in a poor TV reception area. Basically, the plot is something like this:

700 years ago humans left the Earth after mass consumerism caused the place to become overwhelmed with garbage. They left behind a fleet of clean-up robots to tidy the place up, ready for their return. Gradually they all broke down and, after hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, WALL-E is on the only one left… but now he’ s developed a personality.

WALL-E discovers a new purpose in life when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE. EVE comes to realize that WALL-E has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planet’s future, and races back to space to report her findings to the humans, who have been eagerly awaiting word that it is safe to return home. Meanwhile, WALL-E follows EVE across the galaxy to inadvertently help her save mankind…

As you can probably guess, the WALL-E games will tie-in with the plot as the trailer here shows… And we’ve a selection of Xbox 360 screenshots should you or your kids fancy a bit of Pixar gaming fun this summer holiday.
