Due for delivery at retailers ahead of launch day tomorrow, the robbery allegedly involved a fake car accident, tear gas and knives as the crooks walked away with games worth an estimated €400,000 .
The robbery comes after early copies of Modern Warfare 3 cropped up on eBay and were snapped up for huge sums of money, one person reportedly buying the game for $1725. With only one day to go until launch, gamers eager to ensure they get a copy are still paying over the odds, with some retailers on the auction site charging up to £54.99.
ASDA appears to be the cheapest place to pick up MW3, selling the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions for £38.87 and PC copies for £34.97. Don't get ripped off folks, there's only one more day to wait!
