Battlefield 3 major patch incoming, PC first

EA DICE has announced that a “significant” patch for the PC version of Battlefield 3 will be available very soon, fixing a number of known issues affecting the first-person shooter.

Confirmed on EA’s Battlefield 3 Blog, the patch will “improved polish, stability, weapons balancing, squad control functionality, user interface enhancements.” DICE also promises to fix issues with “negative mouse acceleration” experienced by some places and add several feature enhancements.

The development team has also taken the opportunity to warn Battlefield 3 cheats that it has the software to analyse player data and ban those responsible for ruining the online experience for others.

An Xbox 360 and PS3 patch will arrive shortly after the PC version alongside the full fix list on the official site.

The only problem with the MP, IMO, is the inclusion of RPGs on maps with no vehicles.

I disagree with Hoonigan - RPG's have thier place in all maps… taking down the side of a building even where there are no vehicles has its place, as does shooting fish in a barrel when you have everyone attacking from one choke point - even though I dont use them and get annoyed when I get RPG'd or SMAW'd instead of shot, its an option and they take it… fair enough.

What bugs me is the guys that lose you the game in the team ones because they sit at the spawn point and boost the entire match and still get less points than me and my squad that are capturing objectives and getting kills…

I'm pretty good at the game, but I can't win with only half a team :-(

Sir, what is your game name? I would like to write your name on some of my Rockets. :P

I hope they fix it so you can join empty servers and play. I want to practice flying and explore the maps without being killed. :)

This patch can't come soon enough, the amount of problems this game has is shocking.

I think it's more shocking that it's taking so long for them to release a update for the PC game.
