Kinect compatible
In the game, players control Harry from the third person perspective and gameplay has been described as being more like a third person shooter than the adventure style of previous games, with spell casting carried out via a radial menu, a fully-implemented cover system and even the ability to execute one-spell-kill head shots. Potions will also feature and players will be able to mix ingredients to create the likes of a Polyjuice potion, allowing you to alter your appearance. It's going to feel a lot different to the previous games, but the change should appeal more to an adult audience, which is exactly who developer, EA is hoping to target.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will also be Kinect-compatible. The Kinect experience on Xbox 360 offers exclusive challenges, for either single player or two player co-op. Choose to play as Harry, Ron or Hermione.using physical gestures to cast magic through the screen and defeat their deadly opponents. In co-op mode, the fluid targeting system and leaderboard scoring should add a competitive edge to the action.
The date to pencil in your diaries for the release of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows is November 19, for Europe and November 16 for U.S.
