Gore can't save Crusty Demons
Aside from story mode is ‘devil rush’, which uses the same locations seen within the story-mode. The mode is limited to the use of your bike and you’ll take part in a number of time-restricted objectives such as pulling off a certain amount of trick combos or attempting to keep a wheelie going for a required period. There’s some replay value with the addition of multiplayer modes which includes, Crash ‘n Grab and Theft, where you need to keep hold of an object for a set period.
Crusty Demons is shameless in its level of violence, gore, sexual references and profanities that run through the story-line and the adult audience it’s aimed at won’t mind too much at hearing a number of incest jokes, cursing and seeing bucket loads of blood oozing from the riders, but the fact of the matter is: Crusty Demons fails to deliver a exciting gameplay experience.
Crusty Demons does exactly what is says on the tin and nothing more. Hurling yourself into a side of a building is amusing for a while, but crashing time and time again, despite this being the main draw of the game, is annoying. The game tries to set itself apart from the rest of the crowd by awarding you points for hurting yourself, but even after an hour or so I’d had enough.
Pros
Decent variety in objectives
Injuring your rider is fun - for a while
Multiplayer
Cons
Repetitive
Crashing becomes a bore
Not very exciting
Nice idea, but even the new gameplay elements stop Crusty Demons from being the exciting extreme sport's game it could have been.
