Gun play, sword kills and over-the-top acrobatics.

What is WET?
WET is a third person, action adventure that combines gun and swordplay with the acrobatic skills of Rubi, a sassy female assassin who is double-crossed after being hired by a millionaire to track down his son. Ruby doesn’t take kindly to being conned so she goes on a 12 stage mission around the world to track down the man who betrayed her, brutally taking out anyone who gets in her way.

WET combines a number of genres. As well as platforming segments, expect some Lara Croft-style acrobatics, bouts of frantic swordplay and even the occasional quick-time event. Each stage culminates in an arena-style boss battles and on your way to slicing and dicing your way through dozens of armed thugs you have the chance to rack up points, combos and multipliers in order to purchase weaponry and upgrades, turning the dual-pistol wielding Rubi into an unstoppable killing machine.

Key Features

Storyline - The story is written by Duppy Demitrius who is best known for his work on the TV series 24.

Cinematics/style - The art-style and production is said to be inspired by Quentin Tarrantino and John Woo. You'll see a number of similarities between Quentin's work in Kill Bill and John Woo's art-style and direction in the action/adventure videogame, Stranglehold.

Acrobatics - Rubi isn't just handy with a swords and a gun, she also has a range of stylish acrobatic moves that give her the edge in battle, including wall-running and flipping, sliding on her knees, vaulting over obstacles, ledge-climbing and May Payne-style slow-motion diving.

Combat
- WET employs a score-based system where you're rewarded with points at the end of each stage. Rubi has a range of standard weapons, including shot-guns, Uzis, pistols and swords and she can trigger a feature called Spit-Targeting that allows you to automatically target one villain while aiming your reticule to kill another. With her arsenal of moves and various weapons, you can rack up loads of kills in a short space of time, which increases your multiplier.
