Leaping lizards, it's the conclusion

"Power of Flow", for instance, allows you to freeze water, so you might solidify a waterfall and wall run across, whereas the "Power of Memory"allows you to restore crumbled sections of the city. When you have to combine these powers to work your way past a section, using your timing skills to perfection, The Forgotten Sands is a lot of fun when you get it right. When you don't, however, it can be frustrating dying time and time again. That won't stop you trying though, there is something very addictive about trying to right your failures; the Forgotten Sands does have that "one more go" factor that will probably keep you coming back for more to try and get past a tricky section.

While it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into level design, the combat is basic and extremely repetitive. There are combos and finishing moves that you can apply and elemental attacks that you can unlock, but you’ll be doing very little apart from relying on your timing rather than your skills to dispatch enemies. The Forgotten Sands is obviously not meant to be a deep and involving brawler, but it over compensates for its lack of depth by throwing large numbers of monsters at you. Take some of the monsters out of the equation totally and it would have been more fun.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is an odd game to have to rate. The simplistic gameplay can be addictive and the clever level design certainly makes it challenging, but it lacks any defining moments or major thrills. Taking everything into account then it's a solid, albeit unremarkable 72%.
