The Mercury 7L tablet and Saturn 10 Pro tablet with clip-on keyboard brought to you by Venturer now available in Asda
London, 14th June 2017 - Following the hugely successful launch of its 2-in-1 affordable Windows notebooks in the UK, premium audio and video manufacturer Venturer today announces the availability of a new range of RCA Android tablets. Part of Alco Electronics, the Venturer parent company, RCA are the third largest tablet brand in the US and Venturer are now bringing the range to the UK market, beginning with the Mercury 7L Quad Core seven inch and the Saturn 10 Pro 2-in-1 Quad Core Android tablets. Both will be available to purchase online from 14th June 2017 and in store at Asda from 25th June 2017.
Mercury 7L - £49.99
The Mercury 7L operates on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and has a seven inch capacitive touch screen with a display resolution of 1024 x 600. Inside the Mercury 7L is a Quad Core 1.3Ghz processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory and built in Wi-Fi capability, making it a great option to surf the internet. The Mercury 7L has a front facing 1 mega pixel camera, ideal for video calling friends and family or for taking selfies. With a a Micro SD card slot and Micro USB port for data transfer and charging, this great value tablet is the perfect option for kids or when travelling.
Saturn 10 Pro - £129.99
Like the Mercury 7L, the Saturn 10 Pro also runs on Android 6.0 using a 1.3Ghz processor with 1GB RAM and features built in Wi-Fi and speaker. The Saturn 10 Pro’s internal memory is a huge 32GB and the orientation detecting capacitive touch screen is an impressive 10.1 inches with a resolution of 1280 x 800. There are also front and rear 2 megapixel cameras, perfect for taking photos when out and about.
Unlike other more expensive tablets on the market, the Saturn 10 Pro is equipped with a detachable smart keyboard with a pressure sensing trackpad which clips on magnetically so it can be used as a stand-alone tablet or quickly transformed into a working laptop, making it easier to type, work on documents and surf the internet. This flexibility makes it a great device for commuters or professionals looking for a feature packed tablet at an affordable price.
The Saturn 10 Pro, similarly to the Mercury 7L, uses Bluetooth 4.0 and has a built in Micro SD card slot allowing for the memory to be boosted with support up to 64GB. It also has GPS, a USB 2.0 port and an HDMI output allowing for easy connection to a TV for an enhanced viewing experience.
Both tablets have a battery life of 6 hours.
