There aren't many features missing from the spec sheets of Corsair's high-end Obsidian Series 800D and 700D chassis, but the absence of USB 3.0 connectivity is certainly one of them.

In an effort to make amends, the manufacturer has announced the availability of a USB 3.0 Upgrade Kit for the two aforementioned enclosures.

The kit, consisting of a replacement front I/O panel and all the accompanying cables, is available direct from Corsair at a cost of $14.99 and sports two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a pair of audio jacks and FireWire.

Handy little upgrade, and now that Corsair's introducing its own line of USB 3.0 flash drives, we'd expect to see those coveted blue ports showing up on all Obsidian and Graphite products.

I think other manufacturers should take a leaf out of corsairs book here.
I wondered how much it'd cost to the UK, but looks like it's not available yet anyway (no matter which country you're from). It won't allow you to add to the shopping cart.

Corsair have been taking a leaf out of Lian Li's book. They have had USB 3.0 port I/O Case cable thingy's for ages now :)

Just hard to find places that stock them, that's all.
