ASUS show Lamborghini laptop with Gallardo show car

ASUS are demonstrating their ASUS-Lamborghini VX1 series of notebooks in Halle 2, along with a Gallado supercar, to show off the paint job on the notebook and cement the relationship the two companies have.

The VX1 notebooks are very very similar to the ASUS V6V, which is what your author is using to type this as we speak, but with support for Centrino Duo technology. That means 15.4 inches, thin and light, brushed metal keyboard surround and other bells and whistles. I reviewed the V6V here.

The Gallardo is a 190mph supercar with a 90°, 5 litre V10, pushing out 500hp and over 500Nm of torque. Critically acclaimed as one of the best supercars ever made, it costs a bit more than a VX1 notebook. Shame Lambo don't do long term sampling to the IT press. Bar the Sapphire and Galaxy girls, and Fata1ity getting his gun on at Creative, the Gallardo show car has the most crowds. And rightly so.
