If you're struggling to find a motherboard to go with your shiny-new Intel Sandy Bridge processor, take a good look at MSI's P67A-GD65.

The board, based on Intel's P67 chipset, looks like a strong all-rounder, but what's really catching our eye is the VAT-back promotion that MSI is running.

According to the blurb, anyone purchasing the board from Scan*, Ebuyer, Overclockers, Aria or Novatech prior to January 16 can claim 20 per cent cashback. Taking Scan's pricing as an example, that brings the total cost down from £140.74 to just £117.28.

Not a bad deal, we reckon, and the board's looking pretty spiffin', too. It features a pair of PCIe x16 slots (that operate at x8, x8 in CrossFire or SLI configurations), two PCI slots and three PCIe x1 slots. There's support for up to 32GB of memory in the dual-channel DDR3 DIMM slots, and the board provides SATA 6Gbps, USB 3.0, eSATA, FireWire and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity.

The complete feature list is available at MSI's official product page, and if you're ready to take the plunge, all the promotion details can be found here.

Good deal on what will probably be a decent mid-range board. Shame it doesn't quite match up to their launch deals on the P55 boards last time around - they were seriously generous! Although given the minor bunfight that ensued, maybe it's for the best…
Very nice, mobos have been really too expensive recently.
I already have my board. Got it on Scan's TO price a few days ago. With the rebate, which MSI have already received from me, the board should cost £116. Bargain!
