G.Skill has announced several new high capacity and high performing matched RGB lit memory kits. Joining the glitzy Trident Z Royal Series are the DDR4-4300MHz CL19-19-19-39 and DDR4-4000MHz CL16-18-18-38 memory kits, which are available in your choice of 64GB (8x8GB) and 32GB (4x8GB) capacities. The DDR4 memory modules used in these kits are built with high performance Samsung B-die components.

The Taiwanese memory, storage, PSUs and gaming peripherals specialist reckons its new high capacity memory kits will appeal to professional users and enthusiasts that require "both high-capacity and extreme speed memory," for the tasks they intend to put to their PCs.

G.Skill tested and validated its high-performance Trident Z Royal Series DDR4-4300MHz CL19-19-19-39 64GB (8x8GB) memory kit, for example, on the AsusROG Rampage VI Extreme Encore motherboard (Intel X299 platform) which was fitted with an Intel Core i9-9820X (10C/20T) processor. Such a combination is a potent force for workstation content creation like 3D rendering or multimedia editing, says G.Skill. Further system tests showed that such a system is capable of 101GB/s in quad-channel memory mode (according to AIDA64 testing).

If you buy one of G.Skill's new Trident Z Royal Series DDR4 memory kits you might be pleased that they are designed for ease of use. They support the latest Intel XMP 2.0 for easy overclocking setup.

We know that the new DDR4-4300MHz CL19-19-19-39 and DDR4-4000MHz CL16-18-18-38 kits will become available sometime in Q4 this year. However, we will have to wait until G.Skill worldwide partners get stocks to discover the retail prices.

For reference, HEXUS reviewed the G.Skill Trident Z Royal 16GB DDR4-3600 (F4-3600C18D-16GTRS) kit back in April this year. This US$280 kit gained a HEXUS recommended award.

How about some ‘high performance’ 4x16GB (64GB) kits without all the stupid bling(sorry but they look ugly imo)…

It's all very well doing another set of slightly faster 8GB sticks but some of us want 16GB sticks so we can max out 4 slots with 64GB of ram…

My 3200Mhz 16Gbx4 Vengence C16 kit is currently running at C16 3600mhz At 1.38v with a Ryzen 3700x (slightly looser timings). I will be honest and say I was shocked it actually worked as I just thought I would put it there and when it failed move back from there.

Yeah not ultra high speed but great for Ryzen and only cost me £290.

Nice to know as the only real options I've found are the below and well they're basically what you've managed via an overclock by the sounds of it… (corsair pre overclocked and charging nearly £300 for the service lol)

Reckon we can duct tape over the bling? Tempting.

And yes. I want to be able to, in my next system, populate two slots with 32GB. This gives me an upgrade path rather than using all 4 slots for 32GB.
