Just about every system provider will be rolling out Core i7-based machines in the very near future, and California's iBUYPOWER is getting off to a head start by announcing a trio of Core i7-equipped Paladin systems.

The machines, part of the Paladin F-Series, are aimed at the high-end market and armed with a choice of Intel Core i7 940 or 965 EE processors.

The systems utilise CoolerMaster's HAF chassis in a selection of colour schemes, and there's up to 12GB of RAM, a selection of high-end GPUs and Blu-ray optical drives.

Prices start at $2,200 and rise up to around the $4,000 mark. The official product pages haven't yet been made available at iBUYPOWER.com, but here's what you can expect to find in each Paladin-F system:

iBUYPOWER sounds like a really silly name.
I think naming is a problem throughout the PC industry, take Gainward's "Rampage 700 Golden Sample Goes Like Hell" for example.

You'd think it's a result of Taiwanese thinking, but then you get Californian companies called iBUYPOWER.
