Performance

Being the cheapest chassis on show, any by some margin, doesn't necessarily mean a sacrifice in out-the-box cooling performance. It seems there's enough gap between the solid front fascia and the front intake to enable a decent supply of air, and our octo-core Ryzen 7 1800X chip felt right at home inside the Carbide Series 275R.

There's not a lot separating all seven enclosures with regards to cooling our Sapphire Radeon RX 580 Nitro+ graphics card. The budget Corsair once again does a good, keeping core temp to 71ÂșC when gaming.

The caveat is that the case does little to contain noise. Our test platform is suitably quiet when idle, but the rig becomes noticeable when the going gets tough. Noise, it seems, is the one area in which high-end cases are able to justify a premium.
