External and internal appearance – side on

The Antec 1200 has much the same design of side window as its smaller brother. This is something we're not quite sure about. The window was funky enough the first time round but, to our eyes, looks a little dated on the Antec 1200. We'd have liked to have seen something rather different.
A mesh area is built into the window and can accept a further fan that attaches using clips on the inside.

With the side panel removed, you'll notice that the black finish is even carried over into the interior. It's simple looking and really rather nice.
With the PSU mounted down the bottom of the Antec 1200, there is plenty of room further up for the GPU cards. In addition, cable management is cleverly done.

The drive bay system is somewhat different from that on the 900, as you'll see on the next page...
