...a compact ATX solution that stands out from the crowd courtesy of a quirky front panel design and three bundled RGB fans.Corsair's ever-expanding range of chassis continues to grow with the introduction of the iCue 220T RGB Airflow.
Available in black or white and priced at £88, the firm's latest mid-tower offering is a compact ATX solution that stands out from the crowd courtesy of a quirky front panel design and three bundled RGB fans.
The unique fascia will divide the crowd - I like it, plenty of others don't - but it's nice to see something a little different to the norm, and on the inside the 220T gets most of the basics right. The PSU shroud keeps things looking tidy, there's room for at least one good-sized radiator, and the pre-installed lighting hub makes effect synchronisation a breeze through the iCue software.
There's room for improvement - USB Type-C would be nice and we'd expected PWM fans at this price point - but for a simple, no-fuss build, the 220T can take everyday components and jazz them up a bit.
The Good The Bad Has a fun look about it
Good cooling performance
Reasonably compact for a mid-tower case
Three RGB fans included as standard
Robust steel construction No USB Type-C
Basic fan hub is for lighting only
HDD cage close to PSU bay
Makes little effort to dampen noise
