Cooling our eight-core AMD Ryzen chip isn't a problem for any of the chassis on show, but given the airflow-optimised design, it is no surprise to find Corsair's 4000D landing in the top half of the chart.

Taming the Radeon graphics card tends to be a tougher task, yet even on a warm summer day, a delta temperature of 52.2° is a decent result.

Containing noise while gaming is where airflow-centric cases tend to fall short. Letting lots of air in naturally results in plenty of noise being let out, and when gaming, the test platform inevitably becomes quite loud.
