Performance

When it comes to CPU cooling, we see a small amount of variance between the above chassis, but our eight-core AMD Ryzen processor is happy beneath a 240mm liquid cooler in any case.

GPU cooling is more of a challenge, and as expected, the 5000D, with a solid front panel and only a single 120mm front intake, isn't a top performer. Then again, how many users are going to be using the case in its default setup?

Keeping a build quiet is typically high on our list of priorities. It is clear that the 5000D is going to take some work in this regard, but with the right components aided by an integrated fan hub, lowering overall noise shouldn't be difficult.
