Final thoughts and rating

Corsair has moved into the mainstream chassis market with the Graphite 600T. Designed to house a mountain of high-end in a mid-sized enclosure, the 600T does a good job for the most part.

Class-leading cable routing makes it a cinch to build into, and a moveable hard-drive cage enables even the longest of graphics cards to be situated without problems. Equipped with a top-mounted console that, notably, is home to a USB 3.0 port and a fan-controller which can be hooked up to the three pre-plumbed fans - two 200m and a single 120mm - Corsair has most of the obvious bases covered.

Thermal performance is adequate for a mid-sized chassis, too, and the build quality is above average. Corsair could do with providing a greater range of fan speeds - there's little obvious difference between the slowest and fastest settings - and the installation of a top-mounted radiator and associated fans will necessitate a tight fit.

The ultimate question is whether the Graphite 600T is worth £130. The pricing puts it perilously close to the larger Corsair Obsidian 700D and Antec's Dark Fleet DF-85 - servicing different market, admittedly - making it a harder sell in the competitive chassis market.

Bottom line: we come away with the feeling that Corsair has accomplished what it set out to with the Graphite 600T, that is, provide a feature-rich, spacious and well-built mid-sized chassis. Current pricing of £130 doesn't make a whole heap of sense in light of the Obsidian 700D's £145 retail listing, so a reduction to £100-£110 would be most welcome.

The Good

Simple to build into
Streamlined design looks good
Well-thought-out storage options

The Bad

Installing a radiator and fans will be a tight squeeze
£130 is a lot of money for a mid-tower enclosure: 700D is available for £15 more

At £100 it's a great deal, but really at this price I think it's just not worth it.
