Conclusions

Once the Musketeer is all installed you can then power up the PC. Immediately you are greeted with a superb array of blue dials indicating temperature, voltage and sound pressure. This glow of blue dials would look good in any computer case. One thing to point out is the silver surround isn’t a perfect match to the other Cooler Master brushed aluminium products. This is a bit of a shame but still the looks of the musketeer are outstanding.

Pro's

  • Looks Brilliant
  • No Software Needed
  • Innovative Idea
  • Available in two colours
  • Reasonability Priced (£25)

Con's

  • Doesn't match other Cooler Master products. (Silver Model)
  • Lacks functionality

Conclusion

The Cooler Master Musketeer is a very impressive bit of kit. It enables the user to quickly read vital statistics of the computer system at a quick glance. The bright blue LED dials not only make it attractive but also very usable by highlighting the scales within the dials. I have been using the Cooler Master Musketeer for the past week or so and love the idea of being able to quickly glance at the front of my system to read my case temperature without the need of any software.

The Cooler Master Musketeer will be priced around £25 and is available now.

If you wish to have a quick play around with the Cooler Master Musketeer their is a small macromedia flash game that can be found over here

I have one of these coming today, more for looks than practical usage i will admit. I will post up my thoughts when its in :)
i got one i would also say i got it more for looks then any thing
Got it and installed, all good apart from the VU meter is a bit poor. I find i have to have the volume walloping through it before it even picks anything up on it…

Apart from that it looks really nice though :)

edit: a small tweak here and there has fixed this issue now..

Only remaining complaint is it is every so slightly small for my drive bay leaving gaps at top and bottom.
