On the left...
As with most chassis it’s the left-hand side where all the business gets done, but what’s this? Why can’t we see the inside through the mesh side panel?

With the side panel removed we can see the usual tool-less locking system on the bays on the left but then things start to get a little odd.
The frame covering the motherboard area is a mix of perspex and black plastic, mounted on the chassis via hinges and locked into place by two clips affixed to the 5.25” bays at the front.

Opening the frame reveals its capacity for four fans protected by inbuilt filters. The manual for the Stacker 830 advises the frame can support 140mm, 120mm and 80mm fans in any configuration.
The vertical cross-flow fan from Cooler Master can also be fitted, but doing this limits you to only two other fans in the frame.
In case you decide to use a BTX motherboard in the Stacker 830, you can move the cooling frame to the other side of the chassis – good, forward-thinking from Cooler Master, we reckon.
