Round the back of the Stacker 830 is where we really start to see the benefits of excellent build quality.

The PSU is in the normal place, mounted by sliding it in from the back using the removable plate. The usual motherboard layout is here, with a removable motherboard tray secured by two sliding clips on the right-hand side and an integrated handle cleverly hidden by the shape of the left side panel.

There are no screws to remove for the side panels, just a simple latch on each side – push away from the chassis to open, pull it towards to lock – simple and very effective.

The motherboard tray is a very sturdy affair featuring the usual I/O ports and PCI plates along with a 120mm fan in a removable caddy.
The clever part is that the back of the motherboard tray is entirely modular, allowing the Stacker 830 to switch from ATX to BTX in a couple of minutes, but shock, horror; you’ll need a screwdriver for once!
The Stacker 830 ships with the BTX housing as standard, and it's nice to see it included in the package.
