Conclusion
...there's plenty of substance beneath the 760T's skin; building into the chassis is a breeze; extreme components are well catered for; and the addition of a fan controller is a nice touch. The proliferation of Corsair's portfolio has given consumer's a massive choice of enclosures across the Carbide, Graphite and Obsidian Series product lines. Whether you're in the market for a Mini ITX, Cube, Mid-Tower or Full-Tower solution, Corsair now has a viable option available.
Choice is a good thing for system builders, however the problem facing Corsair is that it has stand-out features scattered across multiple products, and no single chassis has it all. We're fond of the 550D's soundproofing, we still admire the shape of the 600T, the build quality of the 750D is top-notch, and we now love the massive polycarbonate window featured in the 760T.
In an ideal world, all of these elements would be incorporated into one killer chassis, but that hasn't happened thus far, so consumers are having to weigh-up the options and cherry-pick the features that matter most to them. With that in mind, it's fair to say the 760T is aimed exclusively at a niche set of enthusiast users who need full-tower freedom coupled with the ability to show off their build.
The use of a large polycarbonate window sets the chassis apart from the many other alternatives, and though the overall aesthetic won't be to everyone's tastes - the plastic front in particular is relatively uninspiring - it is good to see Corsair try something different. More importantly, there's plenty of substance beneath the 760T's skin; building into the chassis is a breeze; extreme components are well catered for; and the addition of a fan controller is a nice touch.
We feel the 750D remains a classier option, but there's no doubt about it, with a couple of radiators installed and some intricate water work, the 760T is the chassis that will turn heads.
