Conclusion
...this is a mid-tower that looks smart, is easy to build into and roomy enough for powerful gaming components.NZXT's Source 340 is one of the more satisfying PC chassis we've worked with in recent months. Priced affordably and designed with many of the essentials in mind, this is a mid-tower that looks smart, is easy to build into and roomy enough for powerful gaming components.
Cable management is excellent throughout - we were genuinely surprised at how easy it is to maintain a tidy-looking build - and, with no optical bays, NZXT has been able to create a modestly-sized enclosure that can still accommodate a radiator or two.
This is close to being the perfect low-cost gaming chassis, however we can think of two genuine drawbacks: there's no reset button, which is a strange omission, and both the matter interior and side-panel window are prone to scuff marks.
Bottom line: a few small niggles aside, the Source 340 remains an excellent choice and is practically a no-brainer for a low-cost gaming rig.
