Conclusion

...the DG-8-series could easily become a popular choice among enthusiast users wanting to stand out from the crowd.

EVGA is diving headfirst into the full-tower enclosure space with a quartet of DG-8-series chassis priced between £150 and £220. Aimed squarely at enthusiasts and designed with high-end hardware in mind, the range is characterised by a colossal frame that looks formidable while offering something different to the norm.

At the top-end of the scale, the DG-87 presents many of the basics coupled with an array of intriguing features ranging from hardware and software fan control, an onboard temperature display with ambient sensor, as well front-facing HDMI and USB Type-C ports.

It's a case brimming with potential even at this early stage, and if EVGA can add further refinement to the final product through tighter build quality and a little more sound dampening, the DG-8-series could easily become a popular choice among enthusiast users wanting to stand out from the crowd.

Those in the market for a more traditional full tower may well steer toward conventional options such as the similarly priced be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900, but if you prefer your builds to take a left-field approach, EVGA's distinctive DG-87 is definitely one to consider.
