Performance thoughts

With EIST and Enhanced C1 both enabled in the BIOS, our first test was to see what kind of idle temperatures the Nautilus500 and a quality air cooler managed on a stock-clocked Intel Pentium 4 670 setup,

With both the watercooling and air cooler set to lowest fan noise, the result shows just how good liquid-based cooling is at removing a little heat.

The same test but with Prime95's torture test running for an hour. There's little to be gained from switching the radiator's fan from low to high, and the Nautilus500 easily beats out the Akasa air cooler. We were also able to push our Pentium 4 670 to 4.4GHz with 1.42V average load, resulting in an under-load temperature of 62C. It's worth noting that an air-cooled setup couldn't manage the same stable overclock.

Switching to AMD now.

A similar under-load story to Intel's.

Now with some extra clock speed and juice applied.
