The latest iteration of SPECwpc amalgamates a number of CPU-centric operations under various categories. It's an evaluation that generally favours AMD over Intel, and though the Core i9-10980XE is almost twice as fast as the Core i9-9900KS, it still loses in three out of four benchmarks to the much-mentioned Ryzen 9 3950X.
3rd Gen Threadrippers are in a different league.
