It's clear that 1080p gaming at reasonable eye-candy levels is achievable by these mainstream cards. Looking towards a complete solution, AMD offers better value on the monitor front, with its FreeSync technology, over HDMI, available for less than Nvidia's comparable G-Sync. There's no reason why you can't have a really good gaming experience for less than £750 all in.
