Conclusion
This card feels to be lacking to me, unlike the GeForce 2 GTS. T&L makes a difference and will slowly become a must on the PC's of the future. The GTS is still the fastest card available and it uses only a single 0.18 micron chip in comparison to Voodoo 5 5500's two 0.25 micron chips. But enough with the bad points. It has amazing image quality with 3dfx's excellent implementation of FSAA! However, I think FSAA will be more of an advantage to 3dfx in their next card because I'm sure that will have some serious horsepower allowing 4X FSAA (or maybe more!) to be used to full effect whilst maintaining excellent frame rates. Here's to the future! Here's a thought though: Imagine what this card could be with T&L, Hardware FSAA and T&L... Roar!
Pros:
-Very fast, even though the GeForce 2 GTS is faster
-Good image quality with or without FSAA enabled
-Good 2D quality - provides a very crisp and sharp desktop!
-Good compatibility out of the box - as always with 3dfx cards
Cons:
-Not the fastest board around
-BIG!
-2 damn hot chips (literally!)
-Poor included software bundle
-Expensive, I'd buy the GeForce GTS over this in terms of value for money
-No T&L
-No TV-Out
