Conclusion

...this 1,600g behemoth offers better cooling, acoustics and framerate than base solutions.

PC gaming enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating Radeon RX 6000 Series GPUs. Reference boards painted an impressive picture in rasterisation tests and duly delivered AMD back into the high-end firmament.

Partner cards have followed a week later. Their job has been made more difficult by AMD stepping up the quality for its MBA boards, so it's to this backdrop that PowerColor brings the premium Red Devil to your attention.

Massive in form and taking up three slots, this 1,600g behemoth offers better cooling, acoustics and framerate than base solutions, but it's not all good news. The RGB implementation ought to be better, coil whine is evident on our sample of one, and we believe that memory needs to be overclocked on a premium design such as this.

In common with everyone else, the stock situation is sketchy, at best, so it's unlikely you'll be able to purchase a model today. If you can, however, know that the PowerColor Radeon RX 6800 XT Red Devil Limited Edition is a solid alternative to the MBA board.

The Good

The Bad
Very good performance
16GB framebuffer
Standard power cables
Quiet and relatively cool

Stock issues
RGB implementation not great
Memory not overclocked

Only 6 cards listed over here in DK, none of them with a Date when you will be able to buy one.
Not that it matter for me, this is a price bracket i am not able to play in.
In the FH4, how on earth has the 3090 got a faster Minimum Frames than the Average?
To me it comes to which card offers best performance and saving on the power bill….

I see quite the horsepower from the AMD Mid Range card for this… I wonder what the 6900XT(X) would be like? Especially when the drivers start to mature.

Probably a typing error, would assume it was meant to be 152 or 162.

Still, looks absolutely ridiculous and it's surprising that it went through (possibly due to lack of proofreading).

I would imagine the RTX3060TI/RTX3060 or RX6700/RX6600 should be better in this regard as they use smaller dies??
