Overclocking

One might argue that a factory overclock on RTX 3060 Ti isn't all that important as the GPU is easily massaged to higher frequencies. Using an automated scanner to optimise the frequency curve, base and boost clocks were increased to 1,445MHz and 1,730MHz, respectively, while memory ran happily at 14.8Gbps.

Overclocking isn't quite as attractive as it used to be in years gone by. Though the automated process requires very little in the way of effort, the performance bump is minor yet introduces coil whine and a further increase in fan noise. We'd prefer to run this card at its out-the-box frequencies.
