The standalone Aliens vs. Predator benchmark uses DX11 features such as hardware tessellation and advanced shadow sampling to draw and animate everyone's favourite xenomorph.

The first game in our suite is Aliens vs. Predator, and this lovely-looking DX11 title shows outstanding scaling on both AMD and NVIDIA cards.

The Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 OC is the better of the two, though, and while a single card is ample for full-HD gaming, two cards in CrossFire help deliver a silky-smooth frame rate at 2,560x1,600.
