Conclusion

I've enjoyed reviewing this card today as it has managed to run all of the tests easily and coped with some outrageous clock speeds for a Ti4200. I am a little surprised at the results of the benches with the 8x AGP scores consistently below the older 4x standard. Whether this is due to bad implementation of the newer standard on my test setup I cannot be sure.

The performance of this card is beyond my expectations, and the build quality of the card is apparent with the 8layer PCB. The size of the card again was a bit of a shock, and if I hadn't read the Specifications again could have easily mistaken it for a Ti4600. Fortunately this wouldn't have caused much of a problem as it ran those speeds anyway.

It looks like Albatron have come up with a winner here, with the speeds I achieved being towards the top end of spectrum. The heatsink is well designed and effective. On the plus side it isn't what I would consider to be loud either.

If there is an issue with the 8X AGP on this card hopefully it will be sorted out by either a Bios or driver update.

Highs
Excellent build quality
8 Layer PCB
Remarkable clockability

Lows
8X AGP benchmarks not up to expected levels
