Bonaire GPUs have shown a willingness to overclock reasonably well when pushed with some voltage. XFX's overclock is just above average, and the elevated frequencies should add around 10 per cent extra performance.
But here's the obvious problem that stares HD 7790s: a stock-clocked Radeon HD 7850, available for the same kind of money, performs better in each title, while the GTX 650 Ti Boost can also be considered a faster gaming GPU.
