Crysis 3 is a beautiful-looking game that continues to tax high-end systems. We've FRAPS'd a 30-second section near the start of the game, with lashing rain, numerous reflections and full DX11 pomp on show.
Coming back to earth with a bump, Crysis 3 has never been an easy title to master in a graphical sense. The R9 285 OC matches the GeForce GTX 760's numbers here.

When the maximum framerate is 42 there's no hope of providing smooth performance. Very, very few frames are completed within 17ms; the game feels choppy and constrained as a result.
The slowest one per cent of frames start at the unenviable 30ms barrier for the GTX 760, rising to 34.2ms for the R9 285 OC.
