Overclocking

Nvidia keeps tight reins on the GTX Titan X by installing a 1,002MHz core speed. The underlying Maxwell core routinely hits a boost speed of 1,400MHz on the GTX 980 variant. Let off the leash but without adding any extra voltage into the mix, the sample model clocked up to 1,252MHz core (1,376MHz boost) and 8,012MHz for the 12GB of GDDR5 memory. Big, bold and now rather fast.

We see performance gains of approximately 20 per cent over and above the base card's numbers. This is Titan X².
