Power, Temperature and Noise

The Asus Strix is fairly restrained in the power consumption stakes. We believe this to be the case because the core never reaches the full 1,250MHz speed in our benchmarks.

The simpler cooler has no problem in taming the RX 470 Polaris GPU. We reckon Asus should have increased the power target for this card to ensure that it achieved boost speed - temperatures, clearly, aren't a problem.

And the card is pretty quiet, too.
