Power, Temperature and Noise

Energy efficiency is undoubtedly one of the GTX 1050 Ti's strongest attributes, and remember the above readings are system-wide, meaning the whole PC draws just 127 watts when gaming with MSI's Gaming X card.

Cooling the small 75W GPU is child's play, and MSI's dual-fan Twin Frozr doesn't have to break a sweat in order to keep temperature below 65ºC.

Cooling is so easy, in fact, that the fan takes a good while to spin up at all, and when it does it never seems to exceed 27 per cent (< 900rpm), making it silent when idle and barely audible when gaming. The Gaming X may not be great value at £170, but the cooler is admittedly excellent.
