Conclusion
It doesn't get much better than a Core i7 processor, GeForce RTX graphics, DDR4 memory and fast solid-state storage in a laptop of this size...There's already a good amount of choice when it comes to GeForce RTX gaming laptops, yet even at this early stage, Razer has set a high bar with its refreshed Blade 15.
Tweaked to alleviate some of the concerns surrounding last year's unit, the 2019 upgrade features a fractionally thicker chassis that allows the underlying components to stretch their legs and deliver a level of performance that's more in line with expectations.
It doesn't get much better than a Core i7 processor, GeForce RTX graphics, DDR4 memory and fast solid-state storage in a laptop of this size, and Razer's sleek design and penchant for presentation allows the Blade 15 to stand out alongside its immediate rivals.
A few niggles remain - the 1080p display isn't cutting edge, the chassis can still get quite warm to the touch, only the US keyboard has backlit secondary functions, and pricing is a sore point - but as far as premium gaming laptops go, Blade 15 gets plenty right.
Bottom line: willing to spend big on a new gaming laptop for 2019? The Razer Blade 15 absolutely deserves consideration.
