Moving on over to media-related tests that are multi-threaded and make use of the dual-core Yonah CPU in the Pegasus 330, we see just how much quicker it is than a Pentium M 750 (Dothan, single-core) clocked in at 1.96GHz. You can appreciate why Centrino Duo is the Intel mobile CPU of choice for multimedia buffs.

The performance delta is even more pronounced with CINEBENCH's CPU render.



The KribiBench score isn't quite as high as we expected. However, the rendering engine runs better with a discrete video card, as specified on the other two comparison laptops.
