Storage evaluation

Hard-drive speed can be considered average for an 80GB 5,400RPM SATA model. USB2.0 performance is just a touch above average.

Gaming

The use of integrated Intel 945 graphics (GMA950) will not allow you to play the latest games with ease. However, to gauge performance we ran 3DMark05's default test. The Pegasus 330 scored 477 marks. Now consider that a 4,000-5,000-mark score would provide smooth gameplay at the screen's native resolution of 1280x768 and with the latest games, so you're left in no doubt that onboard graphics simply won't cut it with, say, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory running with options maxed out.
