Cranking them to their safe limits, we do see higher memory capability from the same G.Skill DDR4-3600 set, adding some empirical credence to Asus' claims of improved overclocked via OptiMem.
Overall, six cores and 12 threads humming along at 5GHz does wonders for overclocked performance, and it's able to keep that 50 per cent advantage over the also-overclocked Core i7-7700K chips.
