We spoke at length about the enhanced power-delivery system on the Z2EA. Exceeding 70A per phase, where this Alpha comes into its own, is outside the remit of the cooling we use. For that matter, it is outside of anything other than highly-volted LN2.

So, looking at power-delivery quality another way, we dial down the CPU voltage to an arbitrary all-core 1.05V and see just how fast the respective boards can run the CPU. Memory, meanwhile, is run at 1.45V.

The upshot is that the Asus ROG Zenith II Extreme Alpha is excellent in this regard.
