Temperature Tests

We take the readings after loading the CPU up with 10 minutes of all-core KeyShot rendering. Figures are pulled from HWiNFO's reporting.

Along with a CPU load of just 63°C, these numbers show that, at stock 3990X speeds, cooling is more than robust on these TRX40 boards. One would think that having 16 teamed phases would therefore introduce plenty of heat; that's clearly not in evidence here. The heatsinks aren't particularly warm to the touch, and neither board needs to trouble the chipset or VRM heatsink-integrated fans.
