You may wonder why we're seeing high power consumption during Blender. By running the Core i9-10900K at full speed Asus ignores the 125W TDP guidelines and provides the necessary juice to keep the processor humming along at an all-core 4.9GHz.

In fact, the CPU package power averages 226W, in line with the Aorus Xtreme, but higher than the MSI. Even so, the 173A of power is small beer for the VRMs.
