CPU Tests

The CPU tests are designed to scale well with CPU frequency increases. They give an indication that a CPU is allowed to work correctly on a given mainboard, the CPU being constant. Kribibench is first.

Kribibench v1.1

The D925XCV is just over five percent faster than the two Grantsdale boards, indicating a chipset-level difference, rather than a memory-level difference.

LAME MP3 Encoding

We're CPU-bound here, the D925XCV just the wrong side of the 158/159 second divide.

Realstorm

Realstorm is a real-time raytracer, executed entirely on the CPU without any GPU assistance.

When I tested the AG8 initially, I noted that Realstorm enjoyed a low-latency memory subsystem. That's evident here too, with the PF4's result.
