Uniformity and Power Consumption

Colour uniformity

We typically consider a colour variance of less than five to be barely discernible to the naked eye. Aorus manages to keep the FI27Q-X within that limit.

Luminance uniformity

Luminance uniformity just about keeps to the 10 per cent preferred maximum. Look hard enough and you may notice a bit of variation toward the sides, though your own mileage is likely to vary.

Pushing panel performance to 240Hz does appear to have a knock-on effect in the power department. Drawing 50W from the wall at maximum brightness is hardly going to make a significant dent in the 'leccy bill, yet this is the least frugal 27in panel on show.
