Intel NASPT

Intel's NAS Performance Toolkit is an older benchmark that simulates various workloads to gauge theoretical performance. HD Video Playback and Record represents 10 minutes of high-definition MPEG-2 video from a single 1.3GB file alongside an offset 720p recording written sequentially with 256KB access. Office Productivity is a read and write test involving hundreds of small files totalling 2.8GB, Content Creation is primarily a test of random writes, while Photo Album is a largely sequential test of mixed-sized reads.

As expected, the DS920+ edges ahead of the older ARM-based model in each workload, but there's not a great deal in it. Transfer speeds are improved modestly, though the Intel Celeron platform does have the added benefit of superior multimedia transcoding and support for x86 apps.
